FRIDAY Art My Family Consumes Me: A Fifty Year Chicano History by Roberto Rodriguez opens at Voz Alta. Rodriguez's work looks at a 50 year family history that is intimately linking with Chicano Park and Logan Heights-through video installations, photography and multi-media, 7pm. Film Just in time for Valentine's day, Four Eyed Monsters screens at the MCASD–LA Jolla (Followed by Q&A)...The Three Burials of Mequiades Estraba opens at Hillcrest Cinemas, while After Innocence opens for one week only at the Ken Cinema. Music Years Around the Sun, live at Lou's Records celebrating their CD release-featuring members of Yovee and Kut U Up, 4pm...the B-Side Players and Elijah Emmanuel at Canes. SATURDAY Music Sirhan Sirhan performs at M-Theory, 3pm...Drag the River, Truckee Brothers, Bartender's Bible, with Gully in the Atari Lounge at The Casbah.
